It all starts with the feet, footwork

When critiquing shooting form the first place I look is at the feet.  Stance-Footwork-Balance.  Successful shooting technique/form starts here.  – AP

Ray Allen’s accuracy is a real feet

“Everyone always looks at the form, but I think the key to Ray Allen is his footwork is absolutely tremendous,” Rivers said. “Ray’s feet are just amazing — how well he can come off a pick (and) in little time get his feet set and still get the shot up.”

- Doc Rivers (Head Coach – Boston Celtics)

Shooting is Boring

I’ve echoed Miller’s words below many times at our shooting camps & academies.  It takes big investment to get big results!
“Shooting is boring. It takes time and you have to spend hours working on your craft. Players don’t want to put up the sacrifice to do it. That’s why I applaud Ray Allen, at 35 years old, getting ready to break my (NBA record for 3-point field goals) in the next month and a half. He’s the best shooter in this league and that’s sad, because there should be some young gunslinger coming up saying, I’m going to shatter Ray Allen’s record. There’s no one alive that’s going to break his record.”

– Reggie Miller, during TNT’s broadcast of Monday’s Celtics [team stats]-Magic game
